Reflections from Kim

Throughout my life, I’ve been blessed to know a lot of people from all walks of life. In my line of work in the banking industry, I frequently interact with many women on different levels. In my own personal life and in my dealing with other women, I have come to the realization that women feel compelled to talk especially when they are in pain. In sharing my experiences and in listening to those of other women, it occurred to me that our stories all seemed to have similar themes.
One of the more prevalent themes in these discussions dealt with the sentiment that most of us are not where we want to be in our lives. Dealing with my own issues was challenging enough, but I found it to be especially discouraging to know that there are so many women in despair and in pain.
The more I heard of these stories, the stronger my convictions became that there must be something that I can do to change my pains into gains, and by doing so, may help me understand what can be done to help others. I realize that I cannot change the world, but this fact will not deter me from trying.
In creating this organization and website, I feel that I am taking the necessary steps in fulfilling God’s plan for my life as a vessel of hope and encouragement. I hope and pray that each of you, my Sistahs in Christ, will help me fulfill my dream in helping others.
Our Lord has bestowed upon each of us special gifts and talents that define who we are and what our purpose is in life. It is my belief that these gifts and talents can be used to help others, and this website was created to allow women to share these unique traits.
There is strength in numbers, and if we combine all of our talents and gifts, we could build something special and worthy of God’s blessings. Our collective attributes will prove to be an asset not only to those that are most important to us, but also to ourselves.
Thank you for accompanying me on this special mission. I love you for being strong, for being courageous, and most of all, for being the woman that God made you to be.
May God bless you.
